Le Musée de l'Histoire de Simland, ou MHS, est construit, à Dayle Metropole, comme un goutte d'eau posée sur un immense plaza. Son dôme en aluminium permet d'accueillir les collections sur plus de 120 000m2 d'espaces d'expositions ultra modernes tandis que les sous-sol renferment des laboratoires dernières génération destinés à la préservation, la restauration et la conservation des œuvres.

En 1177, le Japon est déchiré depuis plusieurs décennies par les conflits entre les clans Minamoto 源　et Taira　平, qui se battent chacun pour la domination de la cour impériale, et donc du Japon. À cette année, les relations entre l’empereur retiré du Japon Gô-Shirakawa (後白河天皇, Gô-Shirakawa-tennô)　et le clan Taira deviennent très tendues et l’empereur retiré tente de renverser le Daijo-daijin 太政大臣　(premier ministre) Taira no Kiyomori　平清盛, qui était aussi le chef du clan Taira. L’ancien empereur est donc arrêté et en 1180, Taira no Kiyomori place sur le trône impérial son petit-fils Antoku　(安徳天皇, Antoku-tennô), âgé d’à peine un an. Le prince Moｃhihito　(以仁王, Mochihito-ô), fils de Gô-Shirakawa, estime que c’est lui qui aurait dû devenir empereur et fait donc appel à Minamoto no Yorimasa　源頼政, un samurai et chef du clan Minamoto

  • Les peuples du Nord et de l'ouest de Simland partagent depuis des millénaires une langue d'origine germanique: le simallemand
  • Les premières rencontres entre Simrindiens et Européens datent de 1453 avec l'exploration de Francisco de Orellana
  • Fangard est la première ville d'inspiration européenne à être fondé en 1602. Cette date met fin aux explorations du continent Simlandais
